ESPN’s Marc Stein reported this afternoon that the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and Detroit Pistons have agreed to a three team trade. The trade, as reported, would be:
Grizzlies acquire: Ed Davis (Raptors), Tayshaun Prince (Pistons), and Austin Daye (Pistons).
Raptors acquire: Rudy Gay (Grizzlies), Hamed Haddadi (Grizzlies).
Pistons acquire: Jose Calderon (Raptors)
Rudy Gay is set to make almost $18 million next season, which is believed to be a big reason for his departure.
Of course details are still being released, but you can look forward to a reaction piece later on The Stoop.
