According to a report by NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk, the Giants have cut 1000- yard rusher Ahmad Bradshaw. Bradshaw ranks sixth on the Giants all-time rushing list, with 4,232 yards in six seasons.
The Giants are almost $5 million dollars over the salary cap, so some believe the cut could be due to salary issues.
Backup running back Andre Brown averaged 5.3 yards per carry this past season, including a 20 carry 113 yard performance against the Panthers on Thursday Night Football.
The Giants also drafted David Wilson out of Virginia Tech in the first round last year, however his fumbling tendency landed him in Tom Caughlin’s dog house this past season.
